Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 20, 2026

This policy explains how the tools at accentletters.net handle information when you browse, copy characters, use the accent keyboard, or contact us. You do not need an account to use the site.

Text you type

The writing tools process your text in your browser. The application does not submit your writing, searches, or editing history to our server or save your finished text in an account. Copy anything you want to keep before leaving the page; the editor is not a document storage service.

Copying and pasting

When you choose a copy action, the tool writes the selected character or text to your device’s clipboard. It does not automatically read your clipboard. Text you paste into the editor is handled in the browser, like text you type. Your device and any app you paste into control what happens to that text afterward.

Information stored in your browser

The character library uses local storage to remember up to 12 recently copied characters and their names. Any saved favorites also use local storage. These items stay in that browser profile rather than being uploaded to an account, and can remain after you close the tab.

Use Clear in the Recently copied section to remove that history. To remove all stored preferences for this site, clear accentletters.net’s site data in your browser settings. Private browsing and browser settings may limit or remove this storage.

Website requests and cookies

Loading a page sends ordinary connection information, such as your IP address, the requested address, and browser request headers, to the server delivering it. Hosting or security services may retain request logs for delivery, troubleshooting, and abuse prevention. The writing tools do not include your editor text in those requests.

Local storage used for recently copied characters is separate from cookies. The site’s fonts are served with the site.

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use Accent Letters, including which pages they visit and how they reach the site. Google Analytics uses cookies and collects usage information such as page views, browser and device details, and approximate location. This information is processed by Google to provide website usage reports.

We do not add your editor text or clipboard contents to Analytics events. You can manage or delete cookies through your browser settings. Google also provides an Analytics opt-out browser add-on for supported browsers. Learn more about how Google uses information from sites that use its services and read Google’s Privacy Policy.

When you contact us

If you email [email protected], you share your email address, your message, and any attachments you include. Please send only the details needed to explain your question, and remove private text from screenshots. Email services handle delivery separately from the website’s writing tools.

Your choices and questions

You can clear locally stored information through your browser. For questions about information shared by email or website requests, or to request access, correction, or deletion where applicable, contact [email protected]. Please identify the information involved without sending passwords or other unnecessary sensitive details.
